In 2021, Wood PLC, one of the world’s leading consulting and engineering companies in the energy sector, was offered the opportunity to make a presentation at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26). Wood’s Microsoft Azure-based carbon accounting software, ENVision, was a perfect solution to highlight at the conference.
Recognizing the unique opportunity to present the benefits of the ENVision software to the global audience at COP26, Wood engaged EMM to create a short but informational video to highlight how ENVision could help decarbonize transportation.
Decarbonizing Transportation
As the aviation industry contributes 12% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, more airlines are committing to a net zero future. However, with this next great challenge of our generation comes a need for updated technology. Serving on the front line to make net zero aviation a reality, Wood created ENVision, a cloud monitoring solution for carbon accounting. By automating large data sets, ENVision provides a simplified and auditable understanding of any company’s emissions, making it easier than ever for airlines to optimize their carbon reduction strategy.
Working alongside subject matter experts at Wood gave EMM unique insight into the energy industry, allowing us to communicate the key differentiators of their cloud-based ESG solution to a global audience.
Aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals 11 and 13, EMM wrote the video script to focus on transportation use cases of carbon accounting. With key emission stats and screenshots of the ENVision software, EMM produced the video to showcase Wood’s expertise and the unique advantages of their cloud-based software to decarbonize transportation.
EMM then produced the video with a modern look and feel and educational tone, centering Wood’s narrative around the aviation industry and creating a visual sense of the enormous transformation underway.
