Submit your site to all search engines every few months.  Submitting your Web site to search engines ensures that the search sites know you exist and will add you to their directory.  You will need to either individually submit your site to each appropriate search engine, or use a submission service that can do it for you.

At the end of the day, repeat traffic to your Web site is what will bring in online sales, telephone calls, contact form submissions, newsletter subscriptions and requests for more information about your company and the products and/or services you offer.
